Thomas "Tom" F. Joines, 87, of Etowah, TN passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026. He was a devoted family man, distinguished Air Force veteran, and dedicated professional. Born on August 8, 1938, Tom was blessed with a long and full life marked by service, commitment, and a deep love for those closest to him.

Tom proudly served his country with the United States Air Force for 26 years, exemplifying dedication and honor throughout his military career. Tom is survived by his daughter Jenny McDonald, as well as daughter Cathie and son-in-law Philip Foster. He cherished his grandchildren Beth and spouse Henry Gregg, Joshua McDonald and fiancé Allee Webb, Ben Foster, and Spencer Foster. His great-granddaughter RubyMae Gregg was also a shining light in his life. Additional survivors include his sister-in-law Judy Joines and special friends Robin and Pete Duckett, Rick and Marlene Osborn, and their families, along with several extended family members who held him dear.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his devoted wife Cissie Joines, sister Jackie and brother-in-law Al Bates, and brother Jim Joines.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, May 17, 2026, in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.
